Elevator technical terms
( Elevator ) car - used to carry the unit by the car frame , car bottom , confining help and car door components.
Brake - when the elevator car is stationary and the motor is de-energized state to prevent further movement of the elevator electromechanical devices . In some forms of control , it will power off when the motor stopped elevator .
Brake shoe - brake moving parts , surface friction surface . When the brake drum to push it , will be in the elevator stopped leveling state. In some forms of control , it will power off when the motor stopped elevator .
Layout - by a drawing to scale , showing the location of the elevator plane , wells facade, floor space , the relative size and installed equipment.
Rail - A surface machined through T -shaped rail , is mounted vertically in the hoistway , elevator car or counterweight for the motion of the guide .
Guide wheel - instead of using the scroll wheel guide shoe on the sliding guide rail surface .
Brush - usually made of carbon or graphite , for connecting the motor and the generator rotor . It will be passed to the stator current .
Counterweight - to balance the weight of the car plus about 40 % of the rated load .
Generator - A method for converting chemical energy into electrical energy device ( usually DC ) .
Balustrade - escalator side portion above the rung , which comprises a skirt , the inside plate, cover and armrests .
Handrail - ( 1 ) mounted on the top of the escalator handrail moves with passengers for help grip . ( 2 ) as a support of the strip .
Armrest frame - usually a stent made of rubber , mounted on the handrail and the handrail with the Department, in order to avoid the passenger 's fingers caught in the handrail into the gap in the handrail .
Specification - a set of standards for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of elevators , dining staircase , escalators and moving walkways .
Specification - a detailed description of each program you want to install the equipment , materials, dimensions and all other requirements and purpose of the file .
Fire operation - one or a group of the apparatus for ( 1 ) a specific signal is the normal operation of the elevator down to the preset profile floor ; ( 2 ) to allow fire or other personnel in the elevator -specific .
Room - one or a group of elevators , dining ladder, freight elevators or escalators placed where the traction machine .
Relay - a change in the control circuit of the electronic device is turned on or when the preset conditions are met.
Jiaoding overhaul boxes - mounted on top of the car 's control panel. When it starts , the car will be out of the normal operating while it controlled only by the speed of running under maintenance . Car operating panel - one set in the car for manipulating the elevator panel. There are the select button on the floor , opening and closing buttons , alarm buttons and other needs for operating the elevator switch or button .
Car guide rails - machined to a surface of a T-shaped rail , is mounted vertically in the hoistway , for guiding movement of the elevator car .
Car counterweight - to form around the drum set and the car is connected to a weight . In actual installation , it is about 70% by weight of the weight of the car .
Wells - one or more of elevators , freight elevators or meal ladder run channel. It includes the pit to the next room or roof space.
Control cabinet - for one or a set of equipment at a pre- set program control devices connected to it .
Door - mounted on a car driven by a motor to open the door or door -related devices. Door - any kind of machinery used to prevent the landing door open in the elevator hall door locks.
Leveling - When the elevator in the flat landing door sill layer region close to the action . Fully automatic leveling means to reach one or a parking position ( car bottom plane flush with the landing door sill ) of a process.
Sheave - mounted on bearings for one or more wheels wrapped the rope round slot .
Trailing cable - for connecting an elevator , escalator or cable signals meals to their room or car freight elevator hoistway .
Tingmen down the line instructions - installed in the elevator hall signal display device. Run the display direction of the elevator when the elevator approached the layer.
Cascade - a platform for carrying passengers on the escalator .
Gearless traction machine - one kind of wheels and a motor directly connected to the traction machine , because they do not use the gear box , so called gearless . Governor - ( 1 ) a mechanical speed control device . The elevator , this device is a centrifugal brake for the hoisting ropes . It will drive the car security devices. When the elevator down to the speed exceeds a predetermined value , it starts off switch and stopped the elevator . ( 2 ) of the escalator , it is the direct effect of a centrifuge device , when the escalator speed , and power to the brake .
Governor overspeed switch - part of the escalator host. In operation the centrifugal force , when the 20% amount of the actual motor speed exceeds the speed of operation .
Governor rope - attached to the governor of a car frame dragging rope . When the governor action , it will start a safety device .
Traction Machine - used to raise or lower the elevator, freight elevators, escalators meal ladder or drive . Sheave - traction elevator hoisting rope used to hang around the tank on wheels , car and counterweight movement is driven by the traction rope through it .
Hydraulic lift - liquid subjected to pressure in the hydraulic cylinder piston driven by an elevator .
Hydraulic cylinders - the outermost cylindrical shell hydraulic jacks .
Gear traction machine - by the power from the motor reduction gear transmission to the driving wheel traction machine .
Call - the service's contract , other than routine periodic maintenance , inspection equipment customer's requirements .
DC - in the literal and the current flowing in one direction only .
Escalator - tilt with power-driven escalators for passengers to send or next.
